Married and based in Dubai, I continue to seek challenge, discipline and growth beyond the professional sphere. Whether in the air, at sea or on the trail, these pursuits reflect the mindset I bring to transformation work: precise, focused and forward-moving.
Flying
I hold a Private Pilot License under both EASA and GCAA. I regularly fly around the UAE, typically taking off from Fujairah International Airport, and, schedule permitting, also in Europe. Most UAE flights are (due to strict regulations) solo, navigating varying weather conditions, visual landmarks, and controlled commercial airspaces. Flights typically take place on weekends. Sessions after civil twilight can take place in the weekdays.
Sailing
In 2013 I served as the end-responsible organiser of the MBA Offshore Challenge, a full-year training and offshore campaign led by Roy Heiner aboard a Volvo60. We competed in the RORC Fastnet Race as a team of twelve MBA alumni from Columbia, WHU/Kellogg, LBS, Schulich and RSM. I also co-founded the RSM Regatta and MBA Sailing League, which remain active today.
Endurance & Adventure
I received my 20-year Divemaster recognition from PADI in 2025 and continue to dive actively across Southeast Asia and the Gulf. I am also a former competitive rower and an active long-distance adventure motorbike rider.
